CELIA PALERMO

Hi! I'm Celia Palermo: a storyteller, on-air host, content creator, and creative strategist with nearly a decade of experience bringing sports, brands, and people to life through compelling content. 

I began my career in Augusta, GA as a sports anchor and reporter at WRDW/WAGT. You can't NOT love golf while living in Augusta, and that was certainly true for me. Covering the Masters in 2018 and 2019 only confirmed what I already knew - golf was the sport I'd make a career out of. After two years in the CSRA, I made my way to the Quad Cities of Iowa and Illinois to be a sports reporter and anchor at WQAD. Lucky for me, the QC hosts the John Deere Classic where I got to continue my love for covering golf. 

After 2 amazing years in the Quad Cities, I landed my dream job at the PGA TOUR as a producer and host, eventually rising to the rank of Senior Producer and Host. I spent four wonderful years at the TOUR wearing a variety of hats. I led the development of high-impact linear and digital content from conception, to shoot, edit, and final delivery for major partners like CBS, NBC, Golf Channel, Genesis Motor America, Avis, Wells Fargo, Workday, MasterCard, John Deere, and Intersport. I interviewed top TOUR players, produced and edited long form features, lead-produced linear documentaries and network specials, shot social content, hosted our flag-ship weekly studio program "The DROP" on Golf Channel, play-by-play on PGA TOUR LIVE on ESPN+, solo hosted Korn Ferry Tour's 72nd Hole Livestream, and delivered engaging social media content for fans and clients alike. 

I now call Scottsdale, AZ home where I'm currently the Brand Host and Content Creator for real estate marketing firm Wise Pelican. I still am involved in golf, freelance hosting and creating for The Grass League among other major golf clients.
